Your Hometown Pharmacy, Then and Now
Decades of Service, Personal Care, and Small-Town Heart
Stockmen’s Drug has proudly served Gordon and the surrounding areas since 1958, offering just about everything you might need at our convenient downtown location. Originally opened two days before Thanksgiving by a one-armed pharmacist and a local veterinarian, the pharmacy has been a cornerstone of the community ever since.
The store even housed a soda fountain and a JC Penney inside, making it not just a pharmacy, but a true local gathering place. Above it all, a mural painted by Andrew Standing Soldier, a Lakota artist from the Pine Ridge Reservation, signed October 12, 1957 still stretches across the top of the pharmacy, beautifully capturing scenes of Gordon and the surrounding areas.
As a family-owned business, we believe quality care goes beyond fast prescriptions—it’s about personal attention, friendly service, and a commitment to doing right by our neighbors. From medications to vape products priced lower than anywhere nearby, Stockmen’s Drug continues to serve with the kind of small-town charm that never goes out of style.
